Atlanta Skydiving Center

Located in Cedartown, GA, the tandem skydive at Atlanta Skydiving Center is the biggest skydive facility in the Southern United States with the largest number of instructors on-site. Offering the highest jump (14,000 ft.) in the state of Georgia, an indoor training facility, and open 7 days a week.

Cedar Valley Golf Course

The 18-hole Cedar Valley Golf Course in Cedartown features 2,972 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. The course rating is 34.3 and it has a slope rating of 36. Golfers have putted from these greens since 1926.

Cedartown Veterans Memorial Park

This park, located on the corner of East Avenue and Greenwood Drive in Cedartown, was built in honor of the veterans of Polk County who sacrificed their lives while serving our country. The park features a monument listing the names of all these veterans.

Highland Park

Just named the number one ATV park in Georgia, this park features 16 one-way trails - about 45 miles of excellent riding, rated for difficulty, beginner to expert, plus a peewee track and a peewee trail. Full parts and service department on-site. Snacks and drinks are available. Mountain bike riding, nature walks, and other activities for the entire family.

Meadow Lakes Golf Course
The 18-hole Meadow Lakes Golf Course in Cedartown features 6,544 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72. The course rating is 71.7 and it has a slope rating of 130 on Bermuda grass. Designed by Ken Skodacek, the Meadow Lakes golf course opened in 1987.

Nathan Dean Sports Complex

Visit Rockmart's primary recreational park for softball and baseball. This complex also houses a $250,000 state-of-the-art playground, fully funded and constructed by local citizens and volunteers.

Peek Park
This beautiful city park, which was donated by Captain J.A. Peek, is located on North College Street in Cedartown. It features tennis courts, picnic areas and a $250,000 state-of-the-art playground, fully funded and constructed by local citizens and volunteers.

Cedartown Wheelchair Training Camp
Held annually the week before the Peachtree Road Race, this international training camp benefits the wheelchair bound, and develops their skills to compete in the Peachtree Road Race--wheelchair division. Over 20 countries are represented at this yearly training camp.

The 9-hole Prospect Valley Golf Course in Rockmart features 2,965 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 36. Designed by Frank Herring, the Prospect Valley golf course opened in 1970.

Seaborn Jones Memorial Park (Formally Wayside Park) on the Euharlee Creek

A city park, Seaborn Jones Memorial sits in the middle of downtown Rockmart along the banks of the Euharlee Creek. The name Euharlee comes from the Cherokee or Creek Indians and means "she laughs as she runs."

Silver Comet Trail
Picture riding your bike through the countryside, while peddling under large pines and near rock cliffs. Now picture this being right in your backyard! The Silver Comet Trail runs from Smyrna, through Polk County, to the Alabama border. This non-motorized trail is perfect for walkers, hikers, bicyclists, rollerbladers, horses, and is wheel chair accessible. Polk County’s access points to the trail are at Coot’s Lake Road, Van Wert Trailhead, Rockmart, Nathan Dean, Martin, and Esom Hill.

Skydive the Farm
This 55-acre farm, designated to skydiving buffs and beginners is located in Rockmart and houses a bunkhouse, showers, laundry facilities, team room, gear store, wireless internet and cafe'. The staff has over 14,000 combined jumps between them, and all are AFF instructors.
