Polk County is the host of two Native American Pow-Wows throughout the year. First, there is a two-day event held in Aragon at either the end of April or beginning of May at the Aragon Mill Pond. Next, there is a two-day event hosted the first weekend of October that takes place at Northwest Park in Cedartown. Both festivals include Native American dancing, music, and arts and crafts that make these festivals something to attend.
